Regular: APR, ATC, ATO, ATS
Mini: APM, ATM
LP-Mini: APS, ATT, ATM-LP
Micro2: APT, ATR
Micro3: ATL
There are two readily-available brands out there if you want quality fuses, and they are competitors:
Littelfuse (Nasdaq: LFUS)
Bussmann (owned by Eaton, NYSE: ETN)
They both offer small and large assortment packs, as well as moderate amounts of a single fuse type/amperage combo. There are a lot of off-brand/no-brand options out there that are not only a pain to deal with when diagnosing electrical issues, but also could be dangerous. It goes by many names... Strut Bar, Strut Tower Brace, Strut Brace, and more, but they're all a reinforcing component meant to stiffen up the vehicle where flex may occur. This video is going to explain the benefits and drawbacks of a strut tower bar, if it may be worth installing on your own car, and afterwards, you can see how it is installed in another video! There are definitely some things...

Okay, well maybe that's an exaggeration, but it was certainly fun to watch! The fifth generation Toyota 4Runner is sometimes built with automatic headlights, and those models come equipped with a daylight sensor which also gives the dashboard gauges and screen the ability to switch between day and night mode based on light levels instead of changing based on if the headlights are on or off. On 4Runners without the automatic headlights (which is a surprisingly high numb...

Piston Return Springs Explained
Переглядів 1,2 тис.3 місяці тому
Piston return springs help keep your engine running smoothly by distributing the load that would otherwise be very stressful explosions in the combustion chambers. This balance reduces wear on the engine and keeps the rest of the car from experiencing shaking, too. Where To Pour Coolant in a Car
Переглядів 1,3 тис.7 місяців тому
Have you ever wondered where to pour coolant when you need to add some? Well, if you're having trouble with your coolant / antifreeze, first you should be aware that it's not a fluid that should be lost over time; there is likely another issue like a leak, crack in the radiator, or even a head gasket issue that can be causing this, at least on modern vehicles. Video recap: 1: Only work on a coo...

Why You Want a Hunting Gear Ratio in Your Vehicle
Thanks, I went to a shop and they installed it arrows facing up and the blower is at the bottom. I even used the plastic wrapper the filter came in to determine flow. It sucked air in from the bottom. Can't even trust a shop and they also broke a piece off my glove box.
cool !
Thanks but what about under the seats, carpet and overhead material?
Thank you for this video. Please make more. You could call them Engines 101.
Hunting planetary gears.. hmmm....
Prime number gear teeth. Very important in helicopters also.
There's no way I could see if the fan is above or below where the filter space is so after removing the filter, I turned on my cell phone to record video and stuck it into the space. Now I can clearly see the fan is below the filter. Hope this method is useful to someone else!
Very helpful. Thanks for taking time to post this.
I am trying to figure out, from an engineering perspective, how the indirect sensor works? Here's my theory. If tire pressure is low, the tire will have to rotate faster to complete a full revolution for any given speed (because the radius, and consequently the circumferential travel, of the tire is smaller).
Talks about spin-on oil filters, shows a canister-type oil filter. Make up your mind.
I definitely would have preferred to have had the footage of the inside of a spin-on ready to go, but I made up my mind that the core of a different type of filter (that was already recorded) conveyed the idea of a metal core well enough for a few seconds of footage.
Go back to spin on, do away with this garbage.
Shouldnt matter. Dont buy shit filters. Champ is not a brand I trust have seen too many burst.
Champion makes OEM filters for Ford, Mopar, and autozone’s house brand STP. I trust Mann/ Wix. They’re better made. Along with MAHLE too
@@jhon44mat use mahle gaskets, don't have a supplier for their filters. I use anything made in Gastonia by wix, mann and Hummel, or microgard(wix house brand for O'Reilly's)
@@jhon44matbetter made than what?
@@u_s_e_rname .....than champ....what did you miss I think it's pretty obvious what brand we are talking about.
Yeah, the Champ filter I got was... Concerningly inexpensive. The walls don't feel particularly thin (I've encountered quick lube store brand filters that are definitely thinner) but it is likely going to exist just as a prop in the future.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Great video with clear instructions. Saved a trip to auto shop
Thank you, that's great to hear!
Thanks dude, I didn't understand the LED indicator circuit fully until you mentioned that the resistor added in parallel helps draw more current THROUGH the flasher unit
Great video. Thanks!
Thank you, sir!!
the radiator cap does NOT let coolant back in when its cool but as it cooled down it lets it in but NOT when its cold.
All over flow tanks are expansion tanks, but not all expansion tanks are over flow tanks.
Nice! Thank-you. Bulb type is 168. Sylvania 168 LL for Long Life or 168 ST for Silver Star
Mr cars simplified I got these connectors for my spec d tuning headlights not sure how to connect them 😭and the tutorials are confusing for a wrx 2004

Please explain the performance difference between J case, M case, and PAL fuses.
Simply the best true knowledge about car batteries I ever come across in all my driving since 1980 even before the internet and I don't give complements often! I say this because I have never had less than 9 years life from a car battery, mostly 10-11 years and once 12+ years. Back in the 80s you would have to unscrew the caps of each cell and top-up with pure water then a charge, even today I always charge before winter and again at beginning of summer. My current battery is 10 and a half yrs.of age but now becoming sluggish starting sometimes. When I would mention to anyone I get 10 years I felt they thought I was at best exaggerating or lying. Even now looking up car battery life, 99% say 3-5 years 7-8 if very lucky, some of these posted by motoring organizations and workshops. Half the time I think they're confusing maker's warrantee with life expectancy. Thanks for the opportunity to have my rant. Keep up the sound advice.
this is completely retarded
You need t pins to work on cars. They're nearly free
I have a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (SUV) so wasn't looking for a performance enhancer. On a bumpy road it feels like it's jumping all over the place. Shocks and springs are good so I wasn't sure if one would help in my situation. I went ahead and bought a Megan Racing front strut bar and it fixed the issue by 90%!
The auto companies don't care about how long your engine lasts, the thin oil is ONLY for reduced drag and the insignificant increase in fuel economy.
如果我没有把head拆下来,像这样拆弹簧换seal,valve会掉下去吗? 有方法不让valve掉下去吗?
Thanks for simplifying the process!
Really good vid, thanks
I used these to fix the wires on my lawn mower. They worked great. I wouldn't have had enough room to solder and heat shrink without taking the top of the engine apart.
Dude that was the best video I've ever seen.
Question, is a 08 infinity fx 35 AWD, a interference or a non interference engine?
this may be a dumb question but.... what will happen if the bulb and the switch switched places and there was a ground in between the bulb and the fuse?
What is the voltage drop between your two resistors. In other words place your first lead after the first resistor and your second lead before the second resistor. If you measure 12 Volts, your lesson is incomplete and you have left your students with more questions then answers. You need to update this video.
This really helped me--didn't even pay attention to the blower right below the place where I had wrongly put the filter. Thanks!
Great video! Thanks!

Oh my goodness. This is a great video, but it's not working! I've been struggling for an hour!!! Does something this small need to be so difficult???

I accidentally put dot 4 in a dot 5 system. Now the brakes are grabbing a little bit. I'm Going to flush it. Do you think there may be any long term damage from doing this?
I guess I'm the real old school oddball here. Cabin air filters are my pet peeve. Like I said I'm old school and can't stomach all the new car features. I long for cassette players! Just kidding although I do miss the CD player and hate that my car doesn't have one. I also shut off all the warning bells and automatic braking, lane adjustments and all that. But cabin air filters! I had a car with 165,000 miles on it and never changed the filter. The dealership used to say they couldn't get it out that it was like a nest in there. I eventually started putting a note on my glove box saying "Do Not Open." I got sick of hearing "I need a new cabin air filter." Never changed them in any of my vehicles. Never had a problem.
Dumb

Could just use quick struts.
The fuse box in my car is extremely dusty, like you can barely read anything on it. Should I try to clean it and how?
I used a 4 guage ac wire from lowes to run a car audio system before, it worked ok on my mids and highs amp but it sucked on the sub amp . It wouldnt supply enough current for some reason, even though it would hold the voltage just fine . I never used it again after that but i always wondered why it wouldnt . It wasnt solid wire , but the strands were thicker than car audio wire. They were also stiff. It was weird , i could hook up a single 4 ohm subwoofer to it and it would work fine. When i hooked up my dual two ohm subwoofer to it ,it would barely play. It was rated to put out 1200 watts at 1 ohm, and i checked my grounds and power with a dmm. Never understood it, other than it being an issue with being able to supply amperage at a low voltage or maybe a resistance thing. I have known several people get the same results when using it. I guess thats why people dont use it in car audio lol.
Did you upgrade your Strut Bar on the GTO? I did mines with a BMR version 😅
